How did we present the renovation of a historically important building in modern times?
The Russian dacha, a cultural monument in Zgornje Gameljne, fell into disrepair for many years until its new owner started renovations in 2016. Since it was an extraordinary restoration undertaking, we accompanied the entire renovation with a five-year marketing plan, video content and a campaign on social networks.
The goal: to breathe new life into the historically important building and
to establish a living cultural monument
The restoration of the Russian Dacha was accompanied by the desire to establish a new cultural center with a wide variety of cultural and culinary experiences.
Our challenge: to show the Russian dacha before and after the renovation and encourage people to visit it and participate in its events.
Five-year marketing plan
The comprehensive positioning of the Russian Dacha as a modern living monument was accompanied by a marketing plan for the first 5 years of operation.
The marketing plan was established before the start of the restoration and contributed decisively to a consistent and fast operation.
THE RUSSIAN DACHA, THEN AND TODAY
Since it was an extremely demanding undertaking in terms of restoration, we documented the state BEFORE and AFTER the restoration by filming the rooms of the dacha before and after the restoration with identical shooting angles and cutouts.
In the depiction of the renovated villa, we also paid special attention to many details of the dacha, as everything had to correspond to the image the villa had before the First World War, when the original owners lived in it.

The Russian Dacha also offers the rental of a Rolls Royce limousine, which was hand-made according to the princess' wishes. Together with the owner, we drove to Salzburg, where we filmed the restored car and presented it to the public for the first time in Bled.
THE EMPEROR'S SUPPER
A culinary-theatre performance is taking place in the Russian Dacha, for which we prepared a trailer that was not allowed to reveal too much. Just enough to entice the viewer to watch the culinary event with an original theatrical performance.
RUSSIAN DACHA ON SOCIAL MEDIA
The historically important building also found its place on social networks, where we presented its importance and the entire restoration process.
